HD Tach questions, it seems high to me.

Do these seem right to you?
2x80GB SATA Caviar SE drives in RAID 0 this is my OS Drive, at first i bench it shows around 320mb/s then i bench again - around 4 times - I get this whopping result. 1847 mb/s !? makes me go hmmmm

I have an OEM WD SATA Raptor 160GB drive I use for my Swap file and Data (my documents) Drive I get this. around 135's mb/s ( thats so-so for a raptor i think.

Lastly I have a WD SATA Caviar SE 160GB/16 as a backup drive I get this. around 125's mb/s thats normal i think.



The RAID results seems questionable to me - anybody seen this?

Im wondering if that's on the high or low side for RAID. My RAID is made up of 2x80 GB/ 8MB 7200 RPM WD Caviar SE, My Raptor is of course 160 GB /16MB 10,000 RPM, My Backup drive is a WD 160 GB/8Mb 7200rpm Caviar SE

You are looking at the burst x-fer which is a cached read. You want to look at the average transfer rate, which is 102.7MB/s.

Here are my results for my Raid 0. 2xWD 80gig Sata II drives.
