Link here.

I know it's not the fastest stuff stock, but it should clock just about as high as any of the other kits, dunno of any D9 that's cheaper.

@jhartono0002,

Glad to find something I was looking for... Thanks for nice post~

Does anyone else think the Crucial PC2 5300/6400/8000 are all exactly the same just with different speeds and timings?

I'm just thinking that because with my Crucial 6400 sticks, in the SPD, 500Mhz (PC2-8000) is listed for 5-5-5-15 timings.

i think they are speed binned differently
PC8000 should overclock better, thats just from what i read

I've had that thought myself, the 800's have *2* settings 4-4-4-12=800 and 5-5-5-15=1000

That's how my Ballistix are.

are these confirmed to be D9GMHs? From the few reviews I checked out googling using the part number, they were only able to clock these sticks to about 900. The reviews were from a while ago and the pics show the old style heatspreaders, so maybe they've changed since then?

http://www.overclockers.com/articles1324/index02.asp (they were not able to get all tests to run at 1000, so I don't know why they even bothered listing it)

The ones I got are definitely D9GMH... and I wonder if mwave can give me credit for that 7 since I just ordered it on Friday :(

Haven't updated my sig yet. Just got parts in earlier today and getting used to this whole C2D overclocking stuff.

Easy OC

Intel E2140 @ 3.2
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R
Crucial Ballistix 2x1GB @ 800
eVGA 8800GTS-320

I had a set of the Ballistix DDR2-667 from Mwave (live close so I use their will call). On my P5K Deluxe, I could do DDR2-1000 at 5-5-5-15 with 2.25V. Passed 2 hours of memtest and 4 hours of Orthos blend so I'd bet my money they are D9GMH's.

what's the difference between my ballistix and the same speed/timings "tracer"? can i have 2gb of ballistix and 2gb of the same timings tracer?

4 gigs of 1066 for $260 shipped it very tempting... I don't really need it though. Wondering if the next system I build will be DDRII or DDRIII. Hm...

I broke down and bought it... i'll never pay off my CC at this rate..

All Ballistix is top end stuff...

I have the 667 Tracers and they do 444 @ 1000 @ 2.4 :)

I think there is a deal @ buy.com for Tracer PC8200 or 1000mhz 2 X 1GB for $100.
