RV670 board spotted in the wild...

Looks like an RV570 board with some cooling tweaks...





If they perform better than a GTS 320MB and are priced decently, put me down for two and a RD790.

Pehaps this is what AMD is announcing on Tuesday besides their new quadfire capable motherboards and, a new CPU, perhaps?

haha, my x1950 pro goes from 580 to 650, then crashes, no artifacts. guess its time to bump up the voltage.

mine goes to 641 mhz fine, at 648, It can be fine, or it just massively fucks up, it really F's up at 655 mhz (my x1950pro ocs in 7.5mhz steps).

I tried modding the bios to 1.4v (.1v above stock), but it either didn't take, or it didn't work (temps rose 4c but no increase in overclock. Looking at the RV670s pwm setup which looks digital, these things may OC like crap just like the last gen RV chip. (come to think about it, wasn't the x800xl an RV chip?, They didn't overclock so well ether).
