Looking for a 64bit virus scanning application for Windows Vista? Does anyone know of any good ones?

AVG? Also I think Kasperky Labs.....been awhile since I went hunting for 64 bit, but I think I am going to install Vista 64 over the weekend to replace my 32 bit....

I installed AVG 7.5 for AV and COMODO for my firewall. Both work fine in x64. COMODO was specifically built for 64-bit operating systems.

Kaspersky is not 64 bit software in runs under x86.

Kaspersky absolutely IS 64-bit Vista compatible. I just downloaded the Internet Security version and am using it right now on Home Premium 64-bit. So, not only is the AV compatible, all the other security components are too. Plus, right now you can get KIS and KAV on Amazon free AR, plus free shipping: http://www.amazon.com/Kaspersky-KAV...ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&qid=1196461546&sr=8-2

And those are the three-user versions. !Correction! It looks like the AV is only a one user version. The KIS is a 3 user version:

I ordered KIS but the delivery date was past the required rebate postmark date, so I canceled instead of messing with rebate companies. Someone talked to Amazon and they said they would provide a letter of explanation for the submittal...but that just sounds like a hassle to me. I ordered KIS 3 user Free AR from Frys (and got it two days ago) but that deal's dead now.

Above as mentioned...
However I myself have found AVG is not entirely 64 bit friendly on more than one machine... It works, but has some minor glitches here and there.

NOD32 seems to work just fine, however.

Haven't tried anything else on 64 bit Vista yet.

+3 NOD32, I suspect esets' new Smart Security would be good too since it's based upon NOD32.
