Needless to say, ALL of the rules still apply. If you need a refresher course, head on over to the Sticky. That having been said...

What with Microsoft's recent Windows Feedback Program, the moderating community felt that this would be a good time to remind everyone that software that is labeled "Not for Resale," is in fact just that.

This means that those freebie copies of Microsoft (or other vendor) software are yours to enjoy, or else give away. This holds true regardless which product you received. Some of us appreciate corporate initiatives in offering these programs for free, and would hate to see such programs disappear because of rampant abuse.

If you are caught selling such software, you will be penalized for it. Most likely, this will result in a vacation. Misrepresenting such software as anything other than NFR will not be tolerated. It is not OEM, nor is it "promotional" or "limited [whatever]." If you RECEIVE such software expecting something else, please notify one of the mods or admins immediately, and appropriate measures will be taken. And if you see a suspicious FS/FT thread, please use the Report button (

) to alert the moderating team; we will investigate it as necessary.

Thank you
The FS/FT Moderating Team

PS:
While many of us forget the fact, this also applies to the Intel Retail Edge promotion. One of the terms is:
The purchase of the Bundle is strictly for the Qualified Participant’s personal use only. It is absolutely not intended for resale by the Qualified Participant and any such re-sale is strictly forbidden.
