For anyone who read my other threads I think I'm ditching the Dell idea. But, here is how my system is looking at the moment.

Case: LIAN LI PC-61 $109.99
Proc: E4500 $114.99
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L $89.99
PSU: Corsair 450vx $69.99 (+$10.00MIR)
RAM: GeiL Value 4GB (2x2GB) $76.99 (+$15.00MIR)
GPU: eVGA 8800GT 512MB $194.99 (+$30.00MIR)
DVD: LiteOn 20x DVD-R $22.99
Monitor: 22" Acer $229.99
Mouse: Logitech MX-518 $39.99

Total: $955.90 ($900.90AR)

What I'm looking for: Gaming (COD4, Crysis) Editing (PS7) and other regular PC usages (Browsing, Music, Movies, Porn!). I was thinking about going the cheap route and getting like an AMD 4000+, would that be a bad idea?

well you wouldn't really save *that* much money getting an amd chip.

side note: the TN panel on that 22" acer *sucks*. I have one. great for games, atrocious (bordering on unwatchable) for some movies. maybe I'm just OCD about image quality, but I was pretty disappointed.

I'd actually only be watching movies on my Aquos. Plans for the Acer are just for games and regular desktop applications. (Browsing and PS7... Oh and Porn)

Looks good to me. The only problem is your choice of case. That Lian Li cases uses nothing but loud 80mm fans. If you like a quiet in your cases, you might want to pick up a different case with 120mm fans.
