Enterprises Migrating to 802.11n, Study Finds

Looks like a decent number of enterprises aren’t waiting for full IEEE ratification for 802.11n. A study conducted by BT North America found that one-third of responding companies are migrating to the draft standard within the next 12 months.

The Web-based survey was completed by IT professionals from 226 companies. Forty-three percent of those companies had 1,000 or less IT employees; 28% had 1,000 to10,000; and one-quarter had more than 10,000.
