The @ Chair

How do you show people that you are up to date with the latest styles & fashions while remaining totally nerd-core? Get yourself a few carbon fiber / chrome @ chairs, that’s how.

I like that it's not like every other chair and I like it for the artistic values. I imagine their pricey. Anything made with carbon fiber usually is.

It may look like a work of art, but I bet it's a real pain in the ass.

Seriously, though, that thing looks to be about as comfortable as a window sill to sit on. At least on a sill you have the window to support your back!

I'm pretty sure that's a photoshopped/ rendered picture.

sponsor for the next ROGcon?

the manufacturer's show room could probably use a new coat of paint.

I could not imagine having to clean that thing. "Aaw honey don't sit on the chair! I JUST FINISHED POLISHING IT!"

It think they did that for the artistic effect, to really contrast the chair

Sitting in that chair looks like it would be a painful experience. I may be a nerd but that type of chair wouldn't find a place in my home.

That would be the most amazing 'chop I've seen if it were.

I dunno. Actually looks comfortable to me. Zero hard edges anywhere. If you want a cushion you could probably just stick one on there

He has some nice designs for sure. I think we are looking at functionality when he is just presenting form. We all know that form follows functionality, but when you are an artist it is quite the opposite.

Now back to drooling over those SSD drives!

yeah I actually like the appearance. Make a smaller version and stick on a table and call it art or something. But place my ass in it for 8-12 hours while working? DO NOT WANT

Personally, I think it looks dumb. I wouldn't own one if I was paid. Well, if I was paid I guess I would. But, I wouldn't use it! Ugly, not very useful, and just a gimmicky concept.
