Dell Systems Pre-Loading Iron-Man

Not only is Dell knocking a couple hundred bucks off each of these systems, they are also loading up each one with a copy of Iron Man. Great prices, too bad they didn’t do an Iron Man themed system though.

Get the 2008 summer blockbuster movie, Iron Man, preloaded while you’re customizing your new Dell PC to your own personal style. By getting your content preloaded, you can start enjoying your favorite movie as soon as you get your new Dell without the hassle of searching for and downloading your content, saving you time.

Hmmm... Iron Man themed system. That would be pretty cool.

Yay, thought Dell was trying to do away with putting fluff on their systems?

When I first saw the dell home page, I thought it was an ironman themed computer.

I don't care what amazing movie they have pre-loaded on their systems, I'm still not touching one with a ten foot pole. I imagine average joe won't even consider this as the real reason they purchased a Dell. However, this might be a selling point for "below-average" joe.

How many people watch Hollywood movies on their PC? Dell should be realistic and pre-load 500GB of porn.

That damned Below-Average Joe fella... people always get us mixed up... dammit.

Dells are fine for such folk, they're solid and dependable hardware that just works. Well, they do in decades of experience, and a far sight better than the Macs I bought the past few years that all got returned for being ridden with defective hardware, go figure.

Actually, I bet most people don't even know you can watch movies on a computer. Now they will, which might open up the market for digital movies.

While it's not a selling point that many people would be interested in, there's nothing wrong with them including free stuff. Iron Man's a great movie and I'm sure anyone looking to buy a Dell already would love to have a free copy of it.

I bought dell simply because of the service offered with the machines

every single problem I have had, they were more than helpful in resolving
