Where should i go form here fo rmy workstation?

Sooooo...an ebay seller may have just pulled out of a Quadro FX4400 sale. this opens up a few doors for me, although i'm not happy about it. Therefore, i leave the poll choices up to you.

The rig is getting a 9800GT 512MB card JUST for CUDA, but will serve as a primary GPU until things level out. ASSUMING that this guy sticks to his actions and fully cancels the sale, do i...

BTW...i do CAD. i HAVE to have a workstation card (or softmodded one)
Buy another Quadro card (FX3400) for SLI and free up the port for PCI-E x8?
Buy another 8800 GTS/X for SLI and softmod to quadro?
Buy a Firepro3700 and just use the 9800 for CUDA?
Force the seller to do what is right?
Wait and buy more RAM? You know, because 10gbs is just never enough. Go for 14!

get the fx4400 back, what would you be using cuda for as I am interested in what you would be doing.

cuda...physx and computer vision . te card, if SLIed would run 2 or 4 monitors. yeah....i do crap like that lol.

well then, the 9800gt would be fine I dont think you would need quite the power of the quadros but I could be wrong.

oh, i forgot to mention that i am an mech/robotic engineer lol. I do CAD.

Dang you, just go with the quadro if you plan to sli it, if you dont id hold onto the fx4400 and wait for prices to drop within the coming months i.e after christmas.
