You've got balls of steel, magoo. I'd have some real trouble cutting up my classified's cooler (not sue how it'd affect an RMA).

The top is just a piece of plastic.
The HS is still fine.
If I had to RMA, I'd just have to take my lumps and probably pay for a new plastic top......I can't see it being more than 10 bucks.......and the plastic deal doesn't affect the operation of the HS at all.
I suppose someone at EVGA could be a real dick and tell me the deal was off since I defaced the HS.............I doubt it though.
A guy at realredraider sent back a 680i to evga without a HS at all and they charged him 10 dollars or something like that.
I'll tell you what......in the dark, that red reflects off the polished nickle on the BP block and looks really cool. It was worth it.
