LEGO Arcade Video

Just because I am old and crusty, and I actually remember playing all these games when they came out, it doesn't change the fact that this is an awesome video.

Cool.. but a few discrepencies vs. actual games... PacMan... since when do the Ghosts come back as soon as they go back into their "home".. unless the player has been playing for hours and hours and hours.

And since when does the ship in asteroids stop exactly when you stop using the rocket.... it always coasted for a bit no matter what gaming system it was on.

amazing. esp the subtle changes in the lighting during arkanoid to make it look like the lego blocks were shimmering.

That was so cool.... I had (and still have) a lot of legos as a kid and I played all those games! I remember begging my Mom for quarters to play those games at the arcade. Great find. Now I really do feel old.

I couldn't help but laugh when I thought about Crysis, and how when it first came out, to make it work at any playable framerate on any older hardware (below 8800...), you pretty much had to turn down the settings, and lower the res...

At which point it looked like that video...

It would have been cooler had they worked with a bigger Lego grid, so that they could get the size of everything a bit more accurate...

That sheep arcade was more interesting...
