Just How Big Is The Intarwebs?

Here’s a fun little factoid for you, if you read every single website on the planet (nonstop), it would take you 31,000 years to complete. Thankfully you have the [H] to gather all the things you need in one easy to find location. Well, you’ll probably need porn…and a torrent tracker…okay, so we provide MOST of the stuff you need.

Microsoft's Bing team puts the amount of web pages at "over one trillion". And Google has already indexed more than one trillion discrete web addresses. There are more addresses than there are people on Earth. The current global population stands at more than 6.7 billion.

Vegita thats OVER 9000!!!!

But really, thats pretty amazing. How many websites per person would that be, and I wonder how long it would take if each and every person split the internet and read their fraction of it.

Well, divide number of websites (1 Trillion) and 31,000 years by 6.7 billion.

That is a lot, and just think, this stuff doubles every couple of years or so.

practically, no one will be able to finish reading it then as new web pages get added faster than a person can read them

What you need is a device which uploads everything to the mind so one could skim through as if you was in front of a pc.. Or just skim through the pretty pictures
