25% of All Phishing Attacks from One Group

A single hacker group called “Avalanche” is responsible for a quarter of all phishing attacks in 2009, according to ComputerWorld. Check out the article for more details. That's pretty wild.

Quote:
The group attacks financial institutions, online services and job-search providers using fast-flux techniques that hide its actual attack sites behind an ever changing group of proxy machines, mainly hacked consumer computers, according to APWG's latest Global Phishing Survey.

Obviously we just need to blow up one of Midgar's reactors. Then attempt to destroy the upper level of the city by taking out a few support pillars..oh wait.... nevermind.
