Live In The Mobile Home Of The Future

Would you live in something like this “mobile home of the future?” While this thing is pretty cool, I can still hear Jeff Foxworthy in my head telling redneck jokes…“If you spent $100k on a high-tech trailer…”

Quote:
Would you live in a mobile home? No? What if it were solar and wind powered, and tricked out with the latest modern conveniences and looked sharp? Treehugger's Lyod Alter is selling his one-of-a-kind miniHome Solo prototype for $100,000.

I own a manufactured home(They aren't too mobile, 3 moves at most is what they can take), It has 4 walls and a ceiling and there is nothing wrong with living in one, Of course Mine is up for sale right now, As I'd like to be nearer to My relatives.

I don't think his post was about a Manufactured home, they are a different classification, this seems to be either a RV or a travel trailer. . . . . . From Ikea

It's 350sqft in size, It's a 1 bedroom at most as It is 41.67% the size of My place, It legally can't be towed by anything smaller than a semi truck, My place is 840sqft. It would never be allowed in most trailer(mobile home) parks, But then I live in a park.

Year round living and RV/travel trailers don't go together, As their not meant for that last I heard. In the 60's I'd say get a Scotsman If You want a Travel trailer to camp in at Yosemite National Park.

lol must come to canada where I live, theres a few small "Trailer parks" meant just for long term living in RV's. Mind you this is an oil town where alot of the poeple in those trailers are gone to work 3 weeks a month.

As for the OP, that is amazingly small lol.

I don't know where you live but i'm currently in a 70ft (960sq ft) long trailer and my neighbor has an 80ft long trailer. And there are plenty of trailer parks in my area with similiar trailers in them. Although i don't live in one.
