Steve Jobs & Sarah Jessica Parker Stole the iPod Idea

Steve Jobs and Sarah Jessica Parker stole the iPod idea and went on to make billions off the artistic genius of this guy. The FBI can prove it, they were in on the deal. Wait. What?

Quote:
The suit claims that Wakefield also developed a friendship with Parker and "made a trade secret deal" with her to commercialize the iPod classic, nano, mini, shuffle, video, touch and photo, as well as iTunes and the iPhone. The supposed agreement would have granted Parker 2 percent of gross revenues from the products. Wakefield said he asked the FBI to watch over him to ensure the security of his inventions and deal with Parker.

20 years ago coming up with the iPod name, and having designs of all the products?

This is even too bizarre for TheOnion, let alone AppleInsider. Wow!

Lol, wtf? Digital, internet-based music downloads weren't even a thought back in the '80's.

Don't make fun of him. I'm suing microsoft because I came up with the name in 1947 when I found a very small blanket that I nicknamed micro...and it was so very soft.

Ahhh the ole BBS days. Good times. I hope buddy wins. I somehow don't doubt someone thought of the idea before Jobs/Parker/Apple...I had just figured they had been paid handsomely for the idea.

My bad....I guess.

Yeah, it was Cisco and Cisco got paid of like a congressman in 2007. Cisco had an ip phone that was going to probably be a complete flop so they monitized it oh-so-smartly by selling the name to Apple at the time.

I remember back in about 1991, right when Minidisc had just come out, Popular Science had an article about how they believed by the end of the decade there would be techonology that would allow you to store an entire album on a completely solid state portable player and that it would be far cheaper than the then emerging MD (~$1000 for a portable unit). At the time I though it was the craziest idea in the world because for one thing there was no algorithm comparable to Red Book (@700MB for a full album) that was readily available, plus this was back when computers had like single digit memory SIMMs. However low and behold right around the turn of the century we had companies like RIO which allowed you to put a full album (thanks to MP3) on a completely solid state device.

The article as well as seeing it come to fruition was very ground breaking to me. And I'm not saying this guy had the foresight, but I'm just saying there was some very optimistic people back then.

Seriously anybody thinks that Sarah Jessica Parker could invent anything close to an iPhone or iPod??? If I were someone who worked on the iPhone back in the day, I'd be really fed up now.
