I'm hoping that quite a few of the [H] members buying 2600k's will consider folding with them and wanted to pull together the various guides and links to make it easy.

First of all the basics, you will need to:

- Pick a Username (most just use their forum handle)
- Get a passkey registered to that username, get that here. http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/getpasskey.py
- Know that [H]ardocp's team number is 33
- Configure your power settings to prevent your computer from going to sleep

Once you have all that done, install the FAH GPU Tracker (the name is deceiving, even if you don't fold with your gpu's this will greatly simplify setup.) The link and instructions for setup are here, put your own name and passkey into the tracker settings. http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1550668&highlight=start+folding+easy

Now with the program all setup, just hit start cpu to start folding regular smp work units. You will need to complete 10 of these successfully in order to start earning bonus points on your passkey. This will likely take a couple days depending on the work units you get, you can track your progress by searching for your username here. http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/

Once you have 10 SMP work units uploaded, you will want to go into the the FAH GPU Tracker configuration again and check '-enable bigadv' for your SMP client. These are very large SMP work units that are limited to machines with at least 8 threads (this is where your 2600k's hyperthreading is important) and provide tremendous point rewards at completion. Each one of these will take a day or two to run and should net you 45-50k PPD!

And that's it, keep your PC folding and watch the science happen.
