Sapphire Unveils TriXX with "Fiji" Voltage Control and HBM Overclocking

Why is this even news W1zzard from TPU cracked the voltage issue months ago.

If you aren't going to contribute and you just want to shut down discussion on the matter the exit is that a way --> :)

The TPU review was poorly done when there was no voltage control nor proper HBM memory overclocking apps developed. All he did was move the CCC sliders to the max like a retard and didn't investigate the issue any further.

With this it is now possible not only to undervolt core/memory (for more power efficiency) but also overvolt core/memory to increase max overclocks.

People are getting 1.2Ghz+ out of the core and 570+Mhz out of the memory, they are also undervolting while keeping the same clock to get more efficiency out of their hardware. And now that there is proper voltage control it will allow people to make custom BIOSes with more power states and higher power limits for more stability and even higher overclocks. And that just so happens to be exactly what is being done now over at OCN.

P.S: This should be merged with the thread I posted earlier yesterday: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1882316

it's new because its now "official" and because W1zzard helped to make this Trixx.. check the link its TPU, they have always partnered with Sapphire to each Trixx revision since like.. hm.. IDK 5 years ago more or less..

you know.. The Method used by Trixx its the same used by W1zzard months ago. W1zzard helped to develop this version of Trixx with Fury Overclocking.

He helps develop all versions of trixx

Because hes the author.

lol

Just as unwinder is the author of Afterburner.
