FS: Car Computer Setup - Everything you need!! Pics Galore

I've finally decided to get rid of my car computer. I started working on this project last fall and really haven't used it at all. Heck I just put all my stuff in last month. Anyways I'm going off to college in New York next year so I won't be able to bring my car along, so I decided to sell this baby. The only thing you'll really need is a computer (case/mobo/cpu/memory). I've decided to separate a few of these and if I can sell all of them I'll split them up. Otherwise I'm going to sell the whole package.

Pyramid 7" TFT LCD + extras |||PENDING|||

Barely ever used, just this last month. Includes the LCD, a remote, the wires, and a modified bracket with the original box. Also includes a 12V ac-adapter and a wire so you don't have to cut the end of the ac-adapter wire, all from Radio Shack.

Opus Solutions 90W 12V DC-DC PSU

Has just sat in it's protective wrapping for a long time now. Purchased directly from Chris at Opus Solutions last fall. This series is very scarce as are all the Opus PSU. If you don't know Opus, they make the best DC-DC PSU you can buy. They have a remote option that you hook up to your ignition so after you shut off your car, your computer can stay on for 10 seconds to 20 minutes and then do a safe shut down. For more information visit their site. This unit is the enclosed unit, which has the board in a little metal casing (easy for mounting). That and the remote wiring kit that I purchased to allow me to hook up my LCD to the PSU so that it too would shut off when I turned my car off, were more expensive then just the regular PSU alone. Manual is available online.

Wiring Kit

This is a pioneer wiring kit that I purchased for my Opus PSU. It includes a 12 gauge power wire with a ring end terminal and a 30 amp fuse. Also a length of 16 of maybe 18 gauge blue remote wire. This package also includes a blue RCA monster cable for connecting your CD-Player to your computer. It also includes the headphone jack (whatever that's called) to RCA converter for your sound card to RCA. And a set of couplers for the RCA cables. Everything worked perfectly with my setup and the wires work perfect with the Opus PSU.

Flexible Keyboard and Logitech Wireless Trackball Mouse |||PENDING|||

This package includes the Logitech Cordless Optical TrackMan and a blue flexible/spill proof keyboard that can roll up. I also decided to include some velcro for mounting your setup such as the mouse and it's wireless unit, or the remote for the LCD on the dash for example.

Keyboard/Mouse Package

Wireless Trackball Mouse with USB wireless unit (also have CD)

Keyboard Rolled-up

$55 Shipped (without insurance)

TOTAL PACKAGE $325 W/O INSURANCE

I assure you everything is working perfectly and besides a few scratches from normal use, this unit is practically in mint condition. If you have any questions send me an e-mail at ebound@badlan.com with the subject Car Computer Package or my msn messenger is bizkit_boy69@hotmail.com or AIM is ErstadLMJ.

I don't have heatware which I'll get for this package. But my eBay account is eboundee and my paypal address is ebound@badlan.com

Also up at genmay

Haha yeah Opus is in very short demand now because one guy makes them, Chris. If you look anymore you'll hear that those are the best DC-DC PSU's you can get. The automatic shutdown thing is VERY nice

Nope, an old 93' Bonneville SSEi. Hey it's what I got, not my choice

But I do like the features of the SSEi
