A decent amount of input/outputs for a budget model. Theres some more info in the original thread at AT.

that's a killer deal. i used to have a Sherwood Newcastle, which is their premium line, great sounding receiver and very powerful. if i had money and a use for a receiver, i would buy this in a split second!
 
I managed an electronics department a few years back...Sherwood is one of the old names that was bought/revived by crappy companies, much like Garrard was. These are definately not worth buying...

crying shame if true, though i wouldn't have expected true hi-fi for $77 dollars. The noobs at AT and FW seem to like it for whatever its worth.

Any recomendations for people looking for budget recievers? Like <$200 for a reciever alone? (just trying to fill a void here ;) )
