Well I'm a firm believer in Shuttles now!

why did you go for such a low multiplier/high fsb/loose timings?

and I have always wondered about stability running a setup with yours b/c of that dinky 250w psu

Correct if I'm wrong, but from what I've heard, the Shuttle PSU is anything but 'dinky'.

He went with the low multi and high fsb because his processor can more than likely only squeeze out about 2.5 ghz, but his memory can do way more. Look at his bandwidth. More than 7 Gb/s

Higher FSB means more performance. A 2ghz processor at 10*200 will MASSACRE another 2ghz processor at 20*100

your sig says "...X800XTPE @ stock (she's fast enough guys)" so I wonder why the stock CPU wasn't the same thinking? good to see you're getting 2.5+. I toy with doing it as well but I seriously see no chug anywhere so I haven't. why did you? thnx
