Is this memory compatible with the MSI k8n neo4?

i have been having lots of problems instaling windows. geting errors like ntkrnlmp.exe cannot be loaded error code 7, or some file is corrupted.., many diffrent errors during diffrent steps of instaling windows xp.
http://www.mushkin.com/epages/Mushk...e015016302740c0a8010205c1/Product/View/990700 under the MSI section it doesnt list the neo4. could it not be supported? my computer still turns on. i ran mem tests on each stick individualy and it fails. also tried mem from my other computer and it has same errors. could some bios settings be wrong? does my board not like mushkin memory?

most likely something is wrong with the bios settings. the neo4 is a good board and mushkin makes good ram, so.. yeah.

Try running memtst32 on it to check memory for errors. (I'll post the URL if I find it...)

Also - which slots are you using? Best to use slot one and two first. This is advice from the manual. This will also be giving you dual channel. So one stick is in a green slot, one in a purple slot.

could some of the timing or voltage that bios is trying to give it by default wrong?
