So yeah I got me a 3500+ Winchester on a MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum with a Zalman 7000B AlCu LED heatsink/fan.
Powers supply is a 430 Watt Enermax.
All BIOS updates and drivers are installed.

The farthest I have been able to get with out changing multipliers and such is a FSB of 220Mhz at 1.525Volts.
Here are the settings things were at:

HT Frequency--5X
Cool N Quiet--Disabled
Adjust CPU Ratio--Start Up---------------Values are 4X-11X. Start Up means 11X or default.
Adjust CPU FSB Frequency--220
Adjust AGP Frequency--66
Adjust CPU VID 1.525 Volts
CPU Voltage By--CPU VID----------------Values are Over VID 3.3%, Over VID 5.0%, Over VID 8.3%, Over VID 10%

1.525 and 225Mhz puts BIOS into Safe Mode.
1.55 Volts and 220Mhz puts BIOS into Safe Mode.
1.55 Volts and 210Mhz gets me into Windows and I did not bench it. I was trying to see if 1.55 Volts would work at all.

224Mhz will get me into Windows (XP Sev2) but it will fail 3DMark05.

So what next?

Should I drop the multiplier to 10 and go from there?
Should HT Frequency be 4X?

Dropping the HT to 4x will probably solve your problems.

I am still testing my overclock atm, but am up to 270 htt x 8.5 on my 3000+ and Neo2. You should be able to jack the htt up a bunch.

AGP needs to be at 67 in order to lock it.
Set HTT to 3..once you adjust fsb higher.
Use a divider 166..to crank your fsb.
Cpu voltage needs to be at the 8...10 does not do anything...well, in most bios

So with CPU VID at 1.525 I set CPU Voltage to 8.3% over CPU VID?
See the red text in the first post if that sentence does not make sense.

Also I should not need a divider, my memory will do at least 270 at 2.5-3-3-8.

At these settings I cannot complete 3DMark05 with my 6800 GT at 430/1147 or 425/1147 but I can complete it a 415/1140.
When I ran 3DMark05 at 415/1140 the max CPU temp was 56C.
I have not played games at these settings yet, but I will after I eat dinner.

Aquamark and SiSoft both run fine.
Here are the current settings.

Could power consumption be what is causing 3DMark to freeze?
All my temps seem to fine.
CPU does not go above 56C and GPU reaches about 57C.
I have a 430 Watt Enermax.

Once again any suggestions would be great.

Yeah!!! I changed the CPU Voltage from CPUVID to Over VID 8.3% abd now 230Mhz will work for everything I throw at it!!

Just remember that your memory controller will hold your FSB back with two sticks....I'm actually testing out to see where mine starts complaining at. Right now I'm 10x230MHz @ 2-3-3-12 (tRAS of 12 gives the best latency, don't ask why). I can try 240Mhz but I error out on memtest. I'm positive if I was running one stick instead of two I could pull easily over 240MHz. Damn you A64 memory controllers.....

Just remember Prime95 and Memtest86 are your friends. :D

Prime95 is weird.

I just downloaded it and I really don't get how to use it.
How do you know if it is running and how do you tell it to run for a certain amount of time?
