biostar tforce/geforce 6100 SMBUS driver not loading

Nope, mine works fine. try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, or try using the tforce drivers from the Biostar.tw website. also try going into the bios and enable the reset "ESCS" setting. that will reset all the hardware config mappings.
 
Even with newest bios and data reset it's still no go.
Do utilities like cpu-z & sisoft sandra let you see the SPD info off your ram (ie. make and model, not just timings).

I am curious if they have proper smbios & smbus yet, just like asus had the same issue on some of their boards.

Which board do you have? tforce? geforce? 754 or 939?

Yes and each one is slightly different.
There exists:
tforce 6100 m9
tforce 6100 m7
geforce 6100 m9
geforce 6100 m7

Basically the tforce has better quality capacitors than the geforce, finer voltage control, led and reset button on the board (and funky colors).
