all right guys. go download the program from this site and tell us:

what the program gives you
max oc w/ voltage + cooling


to start off, i have an opteron 146

I'm a bit confused. Is the program predicting 2850mhz and 1.4 or is that what you're running?

haha, nice work :D

and no, those are the speeds i happened to be running at when i copied the data. the 1.4v is stock voltage (i was using more at the time)
 
this was off my 0535 x2 3800+, when i was running it at 2.5ghz because a 120mm rad fan broke

Okay... I thought the purpose of the program was to predict your max based on maxTcase and such, but I guess it's just to give you those details.

My venice is teH sUck. I took it to 1.61v @ 2750 but no matter what it's unstable at anything above 2640mhz. I guess these readings are fairly poor as well. Ah well I guess it gives me an excuse to try out a dual opteron by the time Oblivion comes out (if I can afford one hopefully) .

yup, it's up to us to try to figure out if there's a correlation.. i think there might be, but not a very strong one.

That's my max oc on stock voltage. I'm considering taking the ihs off because heat is holding me back if i bump up th evoltage at all. Will update if i do.

What is this telling us other than the tdp, which I knew, and my case temp never gets that high.
