Anyone have pics of Westinghouse 37" LCD??

If anyone could post some pictures of thier Westinghouse 37" LCd i would REALLY aprreciate it. Im having a hard time finding the LCD in pictures with other things in the backround. In other words, im trying to get an idea of how well it will fit (literally) in my room.

oh yea, and if anyone is selling thier westinghouse, please PM me with your asking price!!

Thanks a lot!!!

Here it is hooked up to my Sager 5690 (15" screen) with my desktop on the right with a 17" CRT. I must say it is a great deal brighter than my CRT. The colors are amazing. Watching Ghost in the shell 2 and playing Half life 2 on this thing was almost too good to be true, but I returned it because it was a little impractical as a monitor with my current setup. Also, the contrast could not be adjusted to my likeing. Whites where too bright and it hurt my eyes to go from a dark game like doom or dark webpage to a white desktop. Blacks was not very black; it made my laptop sceen look dark in comparison. Oh, and there was barely any ghosting. You would have to try pretty hard to see it and it is unnoticable in games and movies. Lastly, I only had a vga connection and some times lines were visible on black backgrounds, I dont know how it would look with a DVI. Overall, not worth the $1600 I paid for it. A more reasonable price would be about $1200, $1300 max. Hope this helps, feel free to ask any questions.

So after owning a westinghouse, are there any other big lcd screens that you would want over that one ?

Here is a picture of my setup that I took a few weeks ago:

NOTE: To the previous Westinghouse Owner who only has VGA, you are wasting all the money you spent on this monitor by not using DVI. I too first started using it via VGA because I didn't have a DVI cable but the picture quality was very fuzzy. I was a bit depressed and even questioned my purchase but once I bought my monster 6' DVI cable that I got on sale for $60 everything changed. It was unbelievably crisp.

I would have to say that out of specific item I have ever bought for my pc's this westinghouse 37" wins 100x over anything else. It COMPLETELY changes the entire gaming experience. It works excellent with the xbox 360 and scales pc games very well that do not support 1920x1080/1200.

I am typing this while I am looking for a group for mission in Guild Wars right now. This game supports and runs very well fps wise for me at 1920x1080 which is rare and let me just say that it is phenominal. It is so crisp and the colors are amazing. Some people complain that the blacks aren't black enough but they are even better than my last monitor.

The only problems I have had in the two months of owning it is that 1 led is dead but you can barely notice it since it is so huge and there is sometimes page tearing when you change resolutions and you need to turn your monitor on and off to fix it. There is also page tearing in some older games that dont support a vsync type feature when you move fast in a game at very high res but I think that is normal for all monitors. Otherwise, this is the best purchase I have ever made regarding anything entertainment wise.

DVDs look flawless and I dont even use a real dvd player... I happen to like Anime a lot too and using this to watch it rocks. The montior can scale a 3:4 to 16:9 as well if you want which I actually like even though things are a tad wider.

Sweet, finally found a group for Guild Wars, hope this helps..

Let me know if you want more pictures and I'll try to find my camera somewhere.

cool. So is this a TV or a Monitor...or both, and if so, how is the TV aspect of it?

No, I love the speaker. I named it Kyle and it talks to me every morning. It is my imaginative "yes" man.

not really a fair fight

those have much higher res of 2560x1600 and arn't made for gameing they are made for graphics work. You need like 2 7800GTX 512s to run that high of a res in some games.

the westinghouse is a tv made for stuff that tv's do. It just happens that people have found it works great with a computers for games and dvd watching

Holy shit, I didn't even think with two 7800GTX 512's that you could run that Dell 30" with it's native res in any games and have it playable.

But in all realness this westy is prolly one of the best choices for a computer screen that is available today.

sli'd 512mb gtxs should be enough to play most games with every maxxed at the native res on that 20 inch dell .. but im sure there will be a few that you wouldnt be able to max out everythign .. which is no biggie .. by the time alot of those heavy duty games are out .. the g80 will be out
