I have a related question: Which 32" LCD TV's have glossy screens?
I'm using a 32EX400 as a PC monitor now and find myself wanting to go back to a glossy screen.
The Sony manual on pg. 8 states that:
"In the case of 32 and 40 inch models, the AC power cord is attached to the TV."
http://www.docs.sony.com/release/KDL32EX400.pdf
I take this to mean that the TV and power cord are inseparable, and thus any EX400 unit will ship with the cord even...
Krescent, would you mind putting up a few photos of your display at desktop and with browser running? Preferably with a non phone camera, if you have one. Thanks
To other people, what is the best 32" HDTV LCD today for use as computer monitor? The one with the sharpest text clarity?
It's nearly 2011. Why are 30" LCD's still selling for over $1,000?

Daffy Duck says, "Diss' is an outrage!"
Haha, is there an online retailer that stocks these types of displays? Maybe I'll go for 2560x1600. That's the most common resolution for 30" LCD's right?
Wouldn't going from say, 24" to 50" at the same resolution result in a massive pixel pitch enlargement? I don't see how it wouldn't if you're doubling the area of the display yet keeping the number of pixels in that area the same.
Do all HDTV's top out at 1920x1080?
Here's an idea:

I'm looking to purchase a large-screen TV to replace my current 24" HP w2408h LCD monitor. My desired screen size is 32-40" and I'm hoping to save money by purchasing a used or refurb model from ebay. I'd like to spend under or around $500 if I can help it.
The intended use of this display will...
So you're not actually going to refute what I wrote, eh?
You're going to tell me that I'm wrong, without explaining why I'm wrong.
Which means that nobody besides you will know why you think I'm wrong.
Thus your post on this public discussion forum is pretty much useless.

If I were designing an anti-virus app, I would simply program it to scan taskman periodically and alert the user as soon as any unfamiliar apps appeared. There would be a modifable safelist so you could tell the app what to flag and what to bypass. If the user did not respond to the warning...
You should have unplugged the network cord as soon as you figured out something was amiss. That, and scanning taskman for any unfamiliar processes.
You definitely shouldn't have let it "re-validate" your OS. While you were out and about, additional malware was being installed on your PC. You...
Thanks, I will do that. I have another question and that is, which netbooks have e-stata ports? I'd like to buy an 11-12" netbook with an esata port but have only found the HP Mini 1000, which is 10".
