uh i dont really remember what i paid for it
i guess about 130€ that would be around 160$
but most certainly it is way cheaper in the us..
by the way, i was quite lucky - the lightning only fried the two ram modules, sys is back up and looking as before :]
had some heavy thunderstorms over here today and now it won't boot up anymore :/
being two years old, the hardware is somewhat cheap to exchange, but it will take me hours to remove the PSU and mobo :o :(
thats the hl2 collectors tin. i dont know where to get one today, i bought mine when hl2 was released :)
it comes with hl2, hl2 shirt and hl1,cs:s plus that ww2 shooter.. dunno how its called
btw, the quake 3 and prey tin boxes look much better :D

everything else (power-on, -12v, ...) plus the switches (reset, power, hd-led, power-led) are soldered directly to the back of the pcb
well unfortunately it isnt that easy actually.
sanding is impossible, i mean its a circuit board and even sanding off 1mm could cut off a circuit path
and i cant use a higher riser card because i'm already at the upper limit of what i can get into the tin..
i think I'll try a...
