    Wireless gaming mouse (mamba??)

Yes, receiver connects to USB port on rig so it is used to charge and send the signal from the mouse.

    Wireless gaming mouse (mamba??)

I use a tray for my mouse and keyboard.....the hardwire switch won't work for me because it needs to be threaded behind the tray and it's too much of a bother. Sometimes I'll have marathon tf2 sessions where the battery is all but dead.....then you're stuck. Want to leave your rig on just to...

    Wireless gaming mouse (mamba??)

Number one thing you should know is that the mouse will not charge if your rig is off.....the charger doesn't have an independent power supply. That eventually made me ditch the mouse and get a xai. Which is outstanding btw. If your rig is on all the time then you would be fine. It is excellent...

Razer Mamba issue (Anyone else experienced this?)

Here's Razor's customer suppport.....feet began falling off, I fire off an email to them complaining. They send me a from letter stating I could buy new feet at their online store. I write back saying that I don't think I should be buying new feet after a couple of months. They send the same...

Razer Mamba issue (Anyone else experienced this?)

I might have looked into that self powered USB port thingy but I had already bought the SS Xai. BTW my mambas feet started to come off after two months and the battery lid began rubbing on the mouse pad (used a hair dryer to bend it back).

Razer Mamba issue (Anyone else experienced this?)

I ditched my mamba today. Sick of bad battery life, though I wasn't aware of that powered port accessory. Also always have problems turning it back on after it is off.

Xai Steelseries - loud and noisy buttons ?

Hmmmm....I just picked it up today. I didn't notice. It is pretty much as loud as my mamba. It does require a bit more force but that's ok by me since I often accidentally clicked my mamba. I don't think it's loud but it depends what you're used to. Btw, awesome mouse. And I was sick of baby...

    GTX 260 vs 285?

The 260 is almost two years old now. ATI price/performance is so much better it ain't funny. Btw my last card was an 8800 gt which I loved so I don't care who makes the card. But if I had to choose I would go 285. Posted via [H] Mobile Device

XFX 5870 fan speed at 55% constant

My load temp approaches 80c and fan speed gets up around 2200 rpms. Do not know the percentage on that but I know its quite quiet. Haven't touched the defaults in CCC. Posted via [H] Mobile Device

    5870 & TF2: "Stutter"/"Hitching"?

It was the very last thing i tried after trying everything else. It is no big deal to reinstall directx.....simply go the the MS page and get the latest version. Seems like every new game install checks and updates as necessary anyway and in my case I had not installed the latest and greatest...

    5870 & TF2: "Stutter"/"Hitching"?

I play tf2 all the time, a couple hours tonite in fact, and never noticed a thing with my 5870. And I had a completely different system six weeks ago. However I had the problem u described with a 5770 in my core duo rig and fixed it by reinstalling directx.

Bad Timing to Purchase a 5870?

Just got a new system from Velocity Micro with a generic 5870. I was surprised at just how quiet it is.....easily the quietest system I've owned. After extended gaming I've never seen the card hit 80C or the fan go over 2300 rpm (which I'm guessing is 20 to 30 percent). It idles at about 1100...

    New Nintendo DSI XL!

Saw it for the first time today. Yes much bigger screen but the bigger pixels make things look more jaggy. Not impressed. Posted via [H] Mobile Device

My "from PC to Xbox 360 to PS3" experience

Just got a new rig (gotta update sig), and it is when it is new, and I got a fast graphics card (ATI 5870) and the latest tech, that I enjoy PC gaming the most. Got all the details ramped up and having a blast playing World at War, Borderlands, etc. etc. This lasts about a year....then the...

G9 or Mamba, decide my fate

Poor customer service from Razer for me.....teflon feet coming off after just a few months (they reply with form letters directing me to their store to buy more), battery cover rubbing on mouse mat. Bad battery life.....no recharge if the the computer is off. I might have to bite the bullet...
