I hope you're right. . . but I wasn't aware of a prior video coolers dumping channeled, heated air directly into the intake area of cpu tower coolers prior. But, then again, I'm not as into this stuff as I used to be. :)

Pehaps a silly question. . . but if you had a file server that was already running 24/7 and you thought: "Why not just throw my extra video card(s) in there and mine a bit!?!". . . Would you trust nicehash to run on a file server that potentially stores your backups, and other sensitive data? --H

I used MX-4 from the get-go. Sadly, my H115i seems to just be a dud after about a year.

Only real downside is aesthetics. My system certainly looks less modern and fancy than it did with the Corsair LED blazing white and just a couple of black tubes running to a largely hidden radiator. But. . . I only peer into the side of my case about three times a year. So. . .

I had the exact same experience with my H115i over the last couple weeks. And I too thought I had essentially resolved it after remounting and reapplying MX-4 TIM. Yet, a few days later, temps were climbing again. Keep an eye on it. You may find the same thing: Temps improve for a while. ...

OP, I've got a 6700K and a H115i. May I ask what you're running to apply "full load" and for how long when you take those load temps?
