Somewhere after flashing F6 my IDE controller wont disable in BIOS. Even with the disabled setting it gets assigned a IRQ (from bios screen) and shows up under windows. There are no drives connected to the IDE channel. Not sure if its just me.

Sounds like a cold boot problem, ie board might not apply enough voltage for some higher overclocked components at power on.

E4500 has a 11x multi, not 10 (11x200=2200). With a lower FSB and a much higher multiplier it would be a better oc chip. The stepping for the E4500 series is newer than the earlier 43/4400's and might actually get past 3.2-3.4 with little effort and some luck.
