Get Ready for "Gamerlicious" Nvidia Control Panel

I swear...If this app is a combination of geforce experience code/features, coupled along with the nvidia control panel....I'm gonna rage. The piece of malware that is Geforce Experience is the biggest PITA ever. Causes so many issues it's ridiculous. Can't tell you how many times I've come...

Computex 2024 Preview: The Hardware Side

I'm just secretly hoping for more memory slots (additional channels would be nice, but would eat into enterprise)... We had it before though, the first generation core i series chips had 6 slots, such as on the x58 platform with triple channel. I could use the additional memory slots as I work...

Computex 2024 Preview: The Hardware Side

Zen 6 will have three different core complexes based on what MLID leaked. A standard 8 core, 16 core classic, and 32c dense complexes. So there will be 32 core single CCD's in the new gen in 2 years or so. Guessing the 16 core is the Zen 6c, and the 32 a new complex specifically for enterprise...

Computex 2024 Preview: The Hardware Side

Gonna nab a 9950x. Just hope the memory controller has improved, as I'm eyeing 4x48gb since my system is a 3d workstation. Would be nice to avoid the 4 stick frequency problem.

NVIDIA RTX 5090 new rumored specs: 28GB GDDR7 and 448-bit bus

Ummm....no. That's a huge stretch. Nvidia would be celebrated if they released the 4090 at that price. That is an insane value over the previous generation.

NVIDIA RTX 5090 new rumored specs: 28GB GDDR7 and 448-bit bus

The 5090 won't make it for china import restrictions. I'm guessing it's more of a move to focus the full die for AI enterprise cards, and paper launch the 5090. Also leaves the option open to do a 5090 TI if they decide it's needed. The 5090 will most likely far exceed 4090 performance, doubt it...

NVIDIA RTX 5090 new rumored specs: 28GB GDDR7 and 448-bit bus

They used a TPP measuring method, standing as Total Performance Processing. Processing power multipled by length of operation...Total score above 4800 were banned. The 4090 is listed at 5,286, hence ban...the 4090D was designed to skirt this, and comes in at 4,707...hence no ban. The...

NVIDIA RTX 5090 new rumored specs: 28GB GDDR7 and 448-bit bus

Valid. It was definitely a missed opportunity. AMD needs to stop trying to mimic Nvidia in everything they do. Although I wouldn't say barely competes as you mentioned. The 7900XTX is faster than a 4080 super and costs $100-200 less, the XT variant is faster than a 4070ti Super, and costs $100...

NVIDIA RTX 5090 new rumored specs: 28GB GDDR7 and 448-bit bus

The 5080 could be sold if it hits 4090D levels of performance. That's how Nvidia got around the 4090 ban to china. A lower performing 4090 variant with less cuda cores. A 5080 at 4090D performance would still be a step up over the 4080 by a decent margin, so definitely an avenue that could be...

NVIDIA RTX 5090 new rumored specs: 28GB GDDR7 and 448-bit bus

Considering how poorly the gaming divisions are doing this generation on both the AMD and NVidia front, I doubt Nvidia would price their line astronomically. They've left the door open for AMD to swoop in on the mid range market, and Nvidia is allowing it to happen. I'm expecting the 5080 to be...

NVIDIA RTX 5090 new rumored specs: 28GB GDDR7 and 448-bit bus

Doubt it. These aren't meant as AI gpu's, even though they, as well as the 4090/3090 have been used as such. I'm guessing it will be max $2499. Nvidia is already riding on a lot of negative press and sentiment regarding their gpu pricing on the consumer side. They have their AI line for a...
