Thanks. I have a 3770k. Tho it can 'handle' more, I'll just find the highest spec'd, reasonably priced ram that's labeled at 1.5v. I dont need to try to squeeze every ounce of performance that I can get outta it.

Understood that gains, if any, would be minimal. However, I can have higher ram speed without adding extra voltage/heat, and given that the ram runs stable (1hr in memtest86) itself, would there be any reason not to?
