I built my new computer a couple months ago, and have finally gotten Sleep mode to work on a computer (yay!), so I have been using it and loving it, and it works great! Except once in a while, Usually on Tuesday mornings, between 4-5 am, the computer will turn itself on. Not EVERY Tuesday, but...
I contemplated watercooling again. I already did that on one computer a couple years ago and watercooling has gotten much more mature.. I just don't really want to deal with it right now. Just want a nice quiet cool computer that I don't have to ever drain/clean (not that I ever had to drain or...
I read that $266 is wholesale, so retail might be up to $300 maybe? At least, that's what they're saying at tankguys..

I ordered business cards from vistaprint before, I am happy with them. Sign up for their mailing list (you might have to make an account first.. I don't remember) and give it a few days before you order. They send out E-Mails daily (which is good before ordering, annoying after ordering) with...

haven't used it, but I think it's one of those environment creating programs. I use Maya Unlimited, it has an ocean generator, but it's not like Terragen or Vue
Thanks for the responses, guys! It is helping reduce my fears of an overheating space-heater. If only I had somewhere else to put my computer than my bedroom, it wouldn't even be an issue..
I'll have to look into the G0 stepping I think. I know I've read that tankguys guarantee's G0...
man.. that seems pretty hot (relatively).. Maybe I should be considering watercooling for a Q6600 too.. Or I'll just get an E6420 and wait to see how hot Penryn's run.. they should be cooler, right?
Well, that was the problem, my friend was saying that a Q6600 was not the same speed as an E6600, it was slower but with more cores. I thought that was wrong, and everyone on here confirms that.
Despite being a computer engineer, he's one of those types that buys a fast CPU and video card and...
I'm not averse to waiting a couple more weeks to get the computer (though I am itching for it!!!) Now I'm more worried about the heat being an issue. I do have A/C at my house, it's just freaking hot here. We're hitting 110+ right now, so my room is usually around 80 even with A/C, not...
The P182 has ports out the back for tubing. Not sure if you're putting your radiator externally, but I had entertained that idea a little bit.. mounting the radiator outside on the rear 120mm fan..
I'm contemplating getting a Q6600 on July 22 and I was planning on air cooling with a Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme in an Antec P182B and I'm wondering if that will be enough?
My room temps during summer in Arizona are probably going to be around 80° F or about 26° C. Basically, it gets hot...
