I have this arm, which I got from computergeeks.com for about $150 delivered to Europe:

I think the model I have might be the 7500-500, which is pretty weak. computergeeks.com page didn't state. They're out of stock now though...
Joined the 2405FPW wagon, ordered one through a friend in the US. :) $879 free next day delivery. Should make for a good gaming monitor, the 30" Apple is a bit difficult to push good framerates with in some games. :)
I guess I'm just lucky. :) I've been working full time with computers for many years and I trust my eyes, they would have noticed such a problem, especially now that it's been pointed out to me.
Yes, the problem seems related to the single, high clocked TMDS of the GE, it's obviously not...
Denis,
I have put the background to black and I can't see the red flicks, no matter how hard I try. Been staring at the thing for 10 minutes straight. It is identical to my FX4000 as far as I can tell. :)
Yeah it's a nice keyboard. :) The monitor is safe from falling off the edge.
Please advice where you can pick up this monitor for $1500, I'll take another one. ;)

I don't know if any card can do 5120x3200, afaik...
Oh it's fine for gaming. I managed to unlock all 16 pipelines and they all work perfectly, and the card is run at 425/1120 with GDDR3 memory, so it's pretty speedy. I thought it was pretty fast at default clock and pipelines too. Of course you can't run all games in full resolution and full...
I've not read any report of a V9999GE that's not working (until now). Are you positive it was the Gamer's Edition? Other versions of the V9999 are reported to not work (apart from the GT that might work, noone's tested so far though).
I've owned both a V9999GE and a FX 4000 and for gaming...
