You're obviously ignorant of just how badly EA botched the job. I recommend you go do some research before just spitting out ignorant "woke" talking points. EA/DICE marketed the game, especially during the release event with Trevor Noah, as the most realistic and immersive simulation of World...
The truth of the matter is that he wasn't talking to us, he was talking to their shareholders.
Either EA knows how they went wrong with BF5, whichever the reasons are, and will course correct, or they don't know and don't care.
Either way, you are fooling yourself if you think the BF series...
Late Gen X. My parents wouldn't allow a video game system but we had an Apple IIGS that I taught myself Basic with. Later we upgraded to a 486/66 and that was when I was introduced to Wolfenstein, Doom, Ultima 7, Daggerfall, Wing Commander, Privateer, MS Flight Simulator and Chuck Yeager's...
The only patch that will get me back into Fallout 76 would be an offline-only mode.
Otherwise, all of the old bugs still exist:

Seriously though, I wonder what the actual player counts are right now. They can't be that good?
I've honestly tried to get into it, but unless it goes offline and allows me to...
I've never used that site.
I like to use GMG, Fanatical (formerly Bundle Stars) and occasionally the Humble Store, but don't mind buying direct from the publisher if it's a steep enough discount (Origin, Uplay, Bethesda Launcher).
However, if I can buy the game for the same price on Steam...
Hell no I'm not "ditching" Steam for Epic, why should I?
1) I don't give a flying rat's ass what Steam or Epic charge developers. Why should I? Are the games going to be 18% cheaper, yeah fucking right... of course they won't be.... what a stupid reason. Way to show some virtue signalling...
Same here, but it's not the departure of Gabe that worries me, it's if it ever goes public (which will probably be at the same time).
It seems to be that once a company answers to shareholders, they stop answering to customers.
