After playing WOW and ruinning in the background windows media player and Teamspeak, system had reached 36c on the cpu and 35.96c on the gpu as reported by the Dallas one wire prob anc according to Asus prob cpu is at 22c ( which must be way off).
LOL I understand why you all would say that I live in central california my system is located in my office the window is closed, LOL and the heater is on.
I'm using an Asus P4C800E equiped with a 3.4 northwood and Asus X800 pro. If there is a difference the ver of the motherboard is 2.0...
Finally got my Lian Li V2000 water cooled setup running I have one 120 and a dual 80 mounted. What do you think of my temps?
Asus probe reports cpu at 19c
Dallas one wire mounted to the cpu block reports it as being 28.69 c and the GPU 27.94
are these acceptable temps?
LOL, exactly what I did with my D4, in the closet for back up, yeah right.
I have a DDC pump coming for my other water cooled project lets see how quiet that one is.
Just finishing up my first WC rig, running the final leak down test right now, LOVE how quiet it is. My dilemma is this
The WC rig will be my gaming system it has
Asus P4C800E
Intel 3.4 processor
OCZ PC4000 Gold (516 x 2)
SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS pltm pro
Dual WD 36g Raptors
Lian-Li...
Finally have a pump I can live with AQZ all the way baby, I first tried the D4, nice pump but my God that whine might as well have someone with their nails on the chalkboard, I tried wrapping it in several pairs of wool socks, dynamat all of which helped but I could still hear it, I'm not going...
Loose connection? really don't know I just purchased the AQZ-50Z-DC12 because of the same reason that D4 is really too loud, pluged my AQZ to my thermaltake 420w PS and no problems.
that is what sounds so strange with your problem is that it runs on your fan bus but not direct, I'm wondering...
Thank you for the feed back :)
I just might put in a 120mm radiator also, I plan to hide it behind the front fan if I am not able to get the temps I want.
My goal is two fold #1 quiet #2 cooling
Brillant Idea I will order the DD Maze4 GPU and the RBX Block heard horror stories about the TT block.
thanks for your feed back. And this Jackass has never posted picks before so I guess I will just have to do some self educating.
As far as no interest in my POS project well I have seen...
I guess I'll talk to myself on this thread
Why don't you order the DD Maze 4 GPU block and the RBX Block they seem to be a good match.
Any Jackass knows how to post Pic's on the forum and who is going to care what your POS is going to look like anyway.
oops I don't think that other rheostat will work try this one
