Highest temperture were 48 after 30 hours of prime 98
My voltage is at 1.56 its a bit high but its been stable for 2 month.
I managed to get to trought Vantage oc at 4.55 but it failed after...
Ok well I found a audio manager for my card so I set it up for 5.1 then I did the test and I heard sound coming from every speaker, then I did the same with control panel > sound ect and it work as well. so I followed your advice and played a dvd, I watched it normal media player and media...
Well I recently bought the Z-5500, but now it seems only my right front and left front are working.. I think the problem is with my sound card, I have a Supreme FX II (came with the motherboard so it's not very fancy) and I don't seem to have an audio manager/console..
The only way I can adjust...
Well I wasn't sure where to put this....I couldn't see any categories for technical help....
So I'm sorry if I'm in the wrong place and I'm also sorry for the length of this message.
Anyway, here is my problem, ever since I came back from the holidays I get a so called "blue screen of death"...

can that system be used to listen music from my computer ?
p.s. I do have a old receiver (4 years old though) from JVC if that can be used on a Z-5500..
Well thank you very much for the advices guys, and well, a 2.0 or 2.1 wouldn't really cut it, because our desk is the living room, but behind the sofa so I would have to move the speakers every time I want to listen to movies on the tv and listen to music on the computer..
So later today I'll go...
I know I know, at least 80% of people on this forum seem to hate the Z-5500 for some reason..
Well our old speaker set (2.1) died and so we need a new set, now I'm no "audiophile" so I don't know much when it comes to speakers but I have been looking into the Z-5500 for 2 reason, 1 they are...
The probleme is probably your motherboard....
Try putting it 9x390 this will give you 3.5 wil a fsb of ~1600
then overclock your ram to 1039 or one that close to this, set it
to 2T and relax the timings 6-6-6-18, after change your Vcore
to 1.4V and you ram to 1.8V
I have tried this on...
My friend is building a new computer and he has a choice between
Crossfire 2600XT 256mb each or a single HD3870 512mb
Im just woundering what would be better for playing games ?
Thank you for replying
Well I have 2 ATI Radeon HD3870 in Crossfire and to my very knowledge
they are 512mb each but everywhere I look in my computer setting or in my catalyst
it says I have 2303 MB Total available graphic memory.... where does this number come from ?
Well at 4.05GHz its quite powerfull if you ask me but it ouputs lof of heat...
I wouldnt dare going over 3.5 on air.
And overclocking to 4.05GHz I find very hard to make it stable..lot of trial and error ^.^
