I think this will be the first expansion I dont buy. I bought dragonflight and was planning on playing it, and just couldnt muster up the interest to play beyond a few hours. I log in every couple months and see my guild and server are dead. Then I see most of the people on my friends list...
Like I said they have waited to long to release anything new. Many companies now make cheaper and better coolers then noctua does now. The NH-D15 was great when it came out and pretty well beat everything, it was still very good when I bought one for my current AM4 system almost 5 years ago...
I like their stuff and fans also, but they havent come out with anything new in years. That is an eternity in tech. Plus their NH-D15 replacement is going to be $150 for a few more heatpipes and slightly different fans. They are acting like they have zero competition and can keep raising...
Yeah those were terrible back in the day. I remember people talking that they were going to destroy everything, then they came out and were terribly slow and had massive compatability issues.
Hopefully it ends up better than tyranny was, man that was a massive disappointment. It also was one of the last games I preordered, cyberpunk 2077 was the last one. I just wait to buy games as I am tired of rewarding failure.
A lot more isnt done art wise though, there are a lot of backgrounds while you are talking to npcs and gods are still rough sketches. Most of the gods and npcs are in stages of being done, but until they have that reflective effect mel has they arent quite done.
Doesnt look right to me, the front looks mostly correct. The heatsink glued on the chip is wrong as it has a plug for the fan, why but to hide what is under there. Plus it has a DVI port, when the card never came with one, why? Plus the back looks really off compared to the normal card. It...
Now thats a name I havent heard in a long time. I got a laptop back then with a single core turion proc, it was pretty good once I took vista off it and put XP that it should have had. It didnt have nearly enough memory to run vista, only 1 gig which was really bad. I upgraded it to 2 gigs...
You think its bad now on battery prices, when I started nearly 14 years ago at autozone, that same battery was $89.99 with an 8 year warranty. If the same gold battery isnt over $300 in the next year with a worse warranty, I will be suprised.
Sure it beat some of the old cards when it came out, but it was quickly outdated. Plus while it worked good on the openGL shooters, that was about all it was good at. If you didnt play shooters it didnt do much for you. Geforce 2 was an all around better card.
