problem is even being in a fiber city doesn't mean you are going to get it. Its looking like only a small subsection of Nashville is going to get it. Hopefully comcast will be scared enough to quit being such jerks to everyone else.
I cant remember a time when google put out a phone that had unique features outside of fast upgrades. They might have been the first to not put external SD slots and buttons on a android phone. The only difference from this year and years past is that Motorola is making a nexus like phone but...
Really all that needs to be done is their cable territory contracts they have signed with municipalities voided allowing other companies to come to town.
Its pretty obvious in the areas that have broadband competition that prices are going down and bandwidth is going up quickly...
the biggest problem we have is lack of choice of providers. Currently there is so much regulation (mostly local) that keeps pretty much anyone but the local cable company or telephone company from bringing in lines for internet access.
If all of that regulation was removed we wouldn't have...

2015 Nissan 370z curb weight around 3500 pounds
problem with going aftermarket in the newer cars is so much stuff (steering wheel controls, etc) are now being ran through whatever radio system is in the car. If you yank that stuff out and...
try the app before you buy. It is crashing hard on the couple of android devices I have put it on. Glad I did before I spent money on any of their stuff.
Hi all,
I have an old i7 860 (currently not OCed) machine that looks to be having motherboard issues so I am considering putting it out to pasture.
Question I am really having is on the CPU. I mostly do just basic office crap on it and play 1080p games but I don't want to take a step back...
Well just so you know the ICBM equivalent during the time of our nations creation was the cannon. Now where do you suppose most of those cannons we used to fight off the British came from? Most were borrowed from private citizens.
The government was created to protect the citizens from foreign invaders. The bill of rights was created to protect the citizens from the government.
The country wasn't created to control anyone. Its design was as far from that as it could get. Now keeping it that way has obviously been an...
I would say that is wrong. I know a lot of people "out in the sticks" and with few options for entertainment outside of TV they all have big TVs and xboxes right now even if they don't have decent internet or live in anything bigger than a single wide trailer.
I think MS might have screwed the pooch with the XBone this time around. I really enjoyed the xbox 360 for its media ability and live was so far ahead of what Sony put out last round but this time its looking that Sony is going to be the one making most of the right moves.
I wonder if MS might...
The thing is before the split Netflix was the best streaming/DVD rental company. Now with the split are they the best streaming or DVD rental company?
Because before they had competition with streaming OR DVD by mail now they have to compete with streaming companies (hulu, amazon) AND DVD...
there is still a ton of America that doesn't have access to broadband much less actual subscribers. Those redboxes might go away in some of the bigger cities but in the more rural areas I bet you will see them for a long while yet.
And yes I am in that camp that thinks the ISPs will end up...
I don't think seeing a merry Christmas sign or a nativity scene is "shoving it in your face" any more than seeing a billboard with an ad for the latest movie that you may or may not want to see or one of the recent Scientology ads that seem to be running on TV more and more often.
If you want...
Ya you are right to a certain point unless a) the mboard manufacture rejects your claim because you are OCing or b) it frys your CPU in the process of burning out.
But ya I have my system running now.. not a lot of point in worrying about it till it dies.
If your not OCing you have nothing to worry about. If something failed you would be totally under warranty and I believe that board has a 3 year warranty on it and if its going to fail most likely its way before that and most likely it will have nothing to do with this particular issue...
the way I am reading it that some of the mboard makers are using mulitple vendors so even if the newegg pics show one socket your board might not have that socket.
+1 even if I was not going to OC I worry although they are talking in that thread that its only extreme OCing that could lead to...
Yes they all have to be the same rez at this point. there is some speculation that they will later be able to use run different res monitors. Till it can do it though.. i say its vapor.
You see a lot of people ditching their 30s now and going with with 3 24s
Its really put me off on...
interesting review. They are going to have to work on the price though. I can't spending more for this one than say a corsair HX850 who has a IMHO a track record of putting out higher quality PSUs.
cost really needs to factor in as well. You are going to end up paying for all of this stuff this card can do that may or may not affect the performance of the card gaming.
If the card is 30% faster but costs 150% more than the 5870 well that is not something I would go for myself.
<--...
I am wondering what to choose at this point with all the delays on mounting kits for most of the popular heatsinks.
I really wonder why everyone seems to be so behind on these. Its not like the CPUs weren't delayed and the dimensions were out there for a long time.
In this economy I...
well I have been looking and while you can get an x58 board for about the same (these ASROCK boards seem to sell for about the same) the same cannot be said about many of the vendors. The Gigabyte, Asus, and evga boards price differences are closer to the 100 buck mark. Yes I know you can get...
Well it depends also on how long you are going to live in a house to determine the value. Most ROIs (even with incentives) that I have seen are usually in the 10-20 year range. That is a pretty big commitment to living in one place just to break even.
This law could also affect other states by default if TV manufacturers decide that if Cali won't let you buy them then that is enough reason not to make them. California is a larger economy than many countries.
In response to the person that said all the monitors they have bought are energy...
I too would like to see some of the lower end boards reviewed if for no other reason than to see if the the 24 phase power does anything that the 12 phase power can't do on the next step down gigabyte. Seems like that is the only useful feature you get on this board (given the 6 dimm slots are...
