Toshiba N300 14TB NAS 3.5-Inch Internal Hard Drive - CMR SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 512 MB Cache - HDWG51EXZSTA $248.99
thinking on this one
yea i personally haven't see great results with referbs...you work in IT and deal with this stuff all the time...any brand you would go for? i am a perfect 3 for 3 with seagates failing. Does it help buying enterprise and targeting the higher cache of 512mb?
Is it worth playing odds on referb drive?......i see amazon has seagate 10TB for $120....of course at least one of my drives are under warranty but i need another drive to back it up lol
ok well it needs a replacement....il take ideas for these, or maybe just grab a WD 8 or 10TB spinner? I mean sure an 8TB m2 would be nice but the cost is not really worth it for media storage
absolutely here is the 8gb one giving me actual issues
its like i finally reached the failing part of the platter with the recent videos i put there for storage, because i can copy older files from it not problem. From here on out no more copying files to this drive at the very least.
I get that...i just really thought by spending the extra money on a "commercial grade" drive used only for simple media storage and kept clean, cool and all that stuff, well you know it would hold up a little better. I remember an old WD drive that got so outdated and small but that thing was...
well one of them (2GB one) still seems to function normally so guess im looking into either one or 2 storage drives (movies, os backups, steam) should probably just shell out for another m2 drive? I never figured the cheaper older drive would outlive the newer expensive one :). Speed wise for...
Dam this is my 2nd Seagate spinner to fail on me (it wont pass the long or short test)...My other Seagate Barracuda 2TB fails the long test
Could swear both of them failed the long test years ago but would at least function normal and at least pass the short test. I tried using the fix tool on...
had not fired up this game in few years....kinda forgot about that...and not to many others do that. it is nice to see the hardware being put to use, either way.
look that motherboard likley works with any am4 cpu made....i know for a certified fact my older ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero will work with ANY AM4 cpu ever made or sold......if its using an older bios its works better with older cpus possibly and in most cases its needs a certain bios made...
https://www.newegg.com/asus-prime-b550-plus-ac-hes/p/N82E16813119665?Item=N82E16813119665 built dad one with my old 2700x a few weeks back....no issues and maybe nice if you need the wifi vs the msi one.
one would think manually setting to speed and timing to match the slowest set should work....kinda dumb since i dont need 48gb anyway but thought i nice
anyone else here get the freez/reboot ONLY after quitting 2042..im thinking memory timings need to be adjusted possibly but its the only crash/freeze this pc gets......i can play the game all night and min back and forth to desktop...but when i do a normal exit game its bzzzz from the speakers...
be amazed how cool these cards run with these really nice coolers. it took a few years but we finally get the 1000 dollar card performance for half price:)
and you know what's crazy i haven't found a single article with review of 5800x3d and this game comparing a full list of cpus and all max settings. to me this game in 128 player mode is the end all be all cpu mark with 60 or more bots running around
i need a new display around that size or bit smaller since i often do months to years on the road so it cant be too travel unfriendly. Was kinda wanting to have the HDR option as well
