Yes burn the bios file into a cd,and at boot press alt+f2 to update automatically. you should read the manual.

No specific problems under windows, and yes I've plugged the GC too. I've tried with 2 PSU, a noname and the Antec NeHE 500w (for the 20 second that it give me before shutdown...), the boot still weirdly delayed between these MB-GC :/
