Thanks for the advice guys! Having just gotten these new speakers last week, I'm definitely not getting new ones any time soon (barring some horrible accident). Thanks for the links, especially for that external DAC. I like the look of that because it gives me a headphone jack that I can put...
I just got a new set of Swan M10 speakers and I absolutely love them. Only thing is, now that I've heard how good my music can sound, I want to know what can make it even better. My setup is as basic as it comes right now: I'm just running the M10s off my motherboard's built-in sound. It...
I think they look awesome too, I just wish they were sold somewhere other than Marshall's website. Are they ever going to come to Amazon or BB or something?

I'm in the market for a new set of speakers and I was all set to get some M10s when I saw these pop up on the site. I've searched for reviews but no one has...
Just to make sure, those root options you guys linked to will work on my 2.2 updated Incredible, right? I don't have to revert back to 2.1 first or anything?
So I've got a Droid Incredible (recently got the OTA update to 2.2) and I was wondering if it was possible to root and install just regular, plain jane, official Google-sponsored Android 2.2. I'm tired of the whole "Sense UI" thing as it doesn't really add anything to the experience and is just...

This is the only picture I have for now, but I can take more if needed. I've got a black/silver Ikea Jerker with an extra shelf. This setup seems very popular on these boards, but I don't need this huge...

This is my current setup. Please excuse the crappy cell phone pic. I'm getting a pair of NEC EA231WMI monitors to replace the current mismatching ones, and I'm looking to sell this Jerker. It's too big...
Oh I'm not making any decisions just yet, I'm merely pointing out the price difference. I'm leaning strongly towards the NEC considering I have Amazon gift cards to use. Good point about the reseller too, their return options sucked anyway.
Actually I found it here on Amazon for $290:

Which makes it about $40 or $50 cheaper than the Nec, which adds up since I'm planning on getting a pair.
Dude I will love you forever if you do a good comparison. I'm leaning toward the NEC at the moment just because I've heard of so many QC issues with the Dell but if they've been improved I might go with them because they're so much cheaper.
I've been having the exact same problem with the 140mm fan that came with my Noctua C12P cooler. I emailed Noctua and they're sending a replacement fan.
I remember HardOCP already did a review on that unit, you can take a look at the results here:
http://hardocp.com/article/2010/03/11/budget_cooler_roundup/3
Bottom line: you're actually better off with the stock cooler. Ouch.
Might be worth looking into the Prolimatech Samuel 17, although...
What a coincidence, I just built an SFF system using that exact same case. I found this review showing a Noctua NH-C12P being used in the case:
http://www.clunk.org.uk/reviews/lian-li-pc-v351-matx-aluminium-htpc-chassis-review/Page-6.html
so I got the NH-C12P SE14, which is newer and comes...
Loving this program! Only thing it doesn't do is display my fan speeds attached to my motherboard. I'm running an Asus Maximus III Gene. No biggie though, All I wanted to keep an eye on was temps. Thanks!
No I don't have anything else to put it in, but I've tried almost all the different headers on my motherboard. I have two other Noctua fans in there, both Noctua NF-P12s, and they work fine no matter what voltage I give them. Then again, they're both oriented the normal way for case fans (on...
I just got a Noctua NH-C12P SE14 cooler for my new SFF build in a Lian Li V351B. The psu in this case is directly over the cpu so I have to keep the cpu fan blowing up instead of down so it doesn't draw in hot air from the psu. Problem is, the fan won't start reliably at anything under the...
I'm picking up a new 5750 soon and I was just wondering if there were any good coolers that fit this particular model. Most of the ones I've seen only fit the 5800 series. Anyone know of any coolers that will allow me to run passive, or at least with a larger 120mm fan that I can keep quiet?
Yeah that's happened to me before. Certain games like Rock Band 2 don't allow their game saves to be backed up or copied, so there is literally no way of keeping your game save, even when legitimately switching to a new PS3.
Well since I don't have a computer right now (power surge killed that too) I'll just suck it up and replay Rock Band 2 and redownload all my songs. Sucks, but looking at that thread HaX posted I guess there's no other option. I kinda wish Sony had a way to back up all your data so people...
So my old PS3 (120gb slim) just died from a power surge and I had to get a new one. I was wondering, can I just take the hard drive out of my old PS3 and put it in the new one so I can keep my game saves? I can't get the old one to boot so I can't save anything off it but the hard drive is...
Yeah I don't want a huge powerful subwoofer since I live on the top floor of my apartment building and have neighbors below me.
Like I said, I'm coming from a Z-5500 and that (being my first foray into surround sound) blew me away with how good it was. I'm sure this setup will be even...
That's good advice. I've never heard anything to compare to the Z-5500 so that's why I liked the sound. I'm sure you're right that once I get some real nice stuff I'll be able to tell the difference... I just wish I could sample some of these items before buying them. For now I'll just have...
Thanks for the input. I'm going with the Pioneer based on Gizmodo's review: http://gizmodo.com/5485322/pioneers-vsx+1020+k-is-best-550-av-receiver-and-not-only-because-you-control-it-via-iphone
I like it because it has that auto calibration thing and more user-friendly GUI. This will be my...
My Logitech Z-5500 setup died recently and I thought now might be a good time to upgrade to a "real" home theater system. I don't know much but I've been reading reviews and this speaker/receiver combo seems to be a big hit and a good price...
I've been wondering about the exact same set of monitors. Every one of them seems to have some sort of persistent quality issue. I've decided to just wait until someone makes a decent IPS monitor again sometime in the distant future. Hopefully it'll happen someday :(
