Is that your XB on your desktop? Always been a buell fan, but like most people never owned one and very sad to see what happened to them. Can't wait to see what Erik has up his sleeve next
Dad and I are in the process of converting the spare bedroom into our computer room. Guess I'm not going to be moving out anytime soon haha. I am going to wire everything up in there tomorrow as well as move more furniture out. Might post updates in here as I go along if anyone cares. Will be...
I don't know how comcast works, but the ISP I do tech support for has it to where some of the levels of service can use all of the bandwidth on the line for a few seconds. Speedtests look really good but it isn't sustained.
I have never had any problems either. Ordered 4 or 5 hard drives over the past 2 years from them, always packed very nice. Had one die on me after 4 months but RMAd it. Way to many variables to blame it on Newegg.
The Hypermotard, 1098 and 848 came from the Ducati dealership my brother works at. The Bridgestone one came from a WERA race.. or maybe it came from the dealership too.. You interested in one?
haha, thanks. Its really nice much more then a big piece of plywood with 4 legs..
It is a really nice work bench. I can work on my computer, do homework or pile a bunch of shit on it.
My dad and I made it. Its about 8 feet long and 2 feet deep. It has a long power strip on the back for easy power access. This summer I am probably going to put a deeper top on it.
Ok so I found that option in my bios but it doesn't work. I have a USB keyboard, do I need to set the jumpers on my mobo to give it standby power?
:edit: oh well that didn't work. I don't think its really a big deal to me though, it isn't very hard to press the power button really..
Thats weird, I have the most pesty cat in the world (but I still love him:p ) but I have never had problems with my messing with my computer stuff. I have cat hair all over my house (well not really but you get the idea) and none of it is in my computer.
Meh, I don't get what the big deal is either. I subscribed to the mag last year after not reading it for a couple of years and I do agree that it isn't as good as it use to be, but the vede was just expressing his opinion.
I would try starting off at a shutter speed of 320ish, then go down from there, going down 1/3rd of a stop whenever you "get it"
Those shots look good too. I like the ones on the inside of the corner more though, even if they aren't quite as sharp.
Did a little modding to my case today and redid my wires a bit.
I might take some better pics tomorrow.
I also just noticed that my fan wire is just hanging there...
I got to join the gang yesterday when my new parts came in:D :D :D :D :D
I haven't started over clocking yet, but just surfing the web my temps are a cool 18-20c (~65f). That is with the stock cooler too!
It sure is an upgrade over my Sempron 3000+. I have a very happy geek now too:D
So here is my first electronics project, which is also the first "mod" to my case. This fanbus a work in progress, I plan to add a few more things to the front panel. Right now it consists of 4 on-off-on switches with 2 LEDs per switch. Down is low (7v, 1 LED), up is high (12v, 2 LEDs). Sorry...
Learn with the AE-1, and if your intrest grows more, then sink money into an XT or whatever you decide on. Plus with an AE-1 you will have most of the basics down by the time you get your DSLR
The s3-is is a very nice camera. The only thing I don't like about it is that ISO 800 is very unusable, however that is to be expected with point and shoots. It has an excellent zoom range as well. Have fun with your new camera!
