My previous card was indeed a GTX 760 by MSI. My system specs are Q6600 @ 3.2GHz, 4GB DDR2 800, no SSD yet just normal 7200 rpm drives for now. I get 60 fps on games like Skyrim with mods on high/AA-AF set to 8 playing at 1080P. I plan to buy Xenoverse next. I know my PC is old and...
I got a new ASUS DirectCU II R9270X 2GB version for about $140 after tax. I needed a new card to replace a similar one that recently failed. Thing is, I went from 4GB to 2GB and Nvidia to AMD/ATI. Don't notice any difference in my games, but I still wonder if I made the right choice.
My system probably never needed anything above 400w, but I like to have room for future upgrades. My specs are q6600 @ 3ghz (may go higher), 8600gts (don't game), 3 sata hdd, 2 dvd burners, 2gb ram. Other things like 2 120mm case fans, fan controller, card reader, floppy etc.

I'm looking for the most efficient PSU under $100 and that Seasonic looks good. But I'd also prefer to stay with a...
Well check them out. I should see if they give the $10 back too. And they even specify the stepping now. Anyway Q6600 FTW! This thing eats my Prescott for breakfast. It's also G0.
Might seem like a dumb question, but I want to know your ideas on this. Let's say there was a encoding program that fully supported SSE4. The video to be encoded is any random format at least 30 minutes long. Now at stock the Q9300 with SSE4 is suppose to have a 30%-50% increase in performance...

What is this? I'm using onboard realtek hd audio and this random click just happens out of nowhere. It can't be the speakers since it can be recorded through the pc can it? When it does happen it always clicks twice just like in the sound.
I need a fast processor for video/dvd editing and encoding. So I've decided on buying a quad. But the Q6600 doesn't have SSE4 and the Q9300 and up will. Will I notice the difference of no SSE4 on the Q6600? Or should I try and wait for the next quads from Intel?
Sweet I won the lottery! I like the s-video and composite inputs because I can use this as a TV if I ever needed to. I'm playing my PS2 on it right now just for fun. Only minor problem is on black screens there's a tiny blue pixel. It's very dim and it can only be seen if you get close and...
Finally got it back Saturday (5/5) Do you know instead of them sending me a replacement control they repaired it and sent it back. I was surprised to see anyone one do this. So far it works BUT when using the lime green display it buzzes slightly. I doubt I'm going to send it back again because...
If you say so. *grabs & squeezes chucky* Anyway I had an A panel and couldn't get it to look good no matter what I tried. Now I have the LG and the problems the Sam had doesn't exist on this screen. Perhaps I just got a defective screen and it had nothing to do with it being an A but I didn't...
