I installed the backplate on my EVGA GTX 295 and now my card idles at 60C and runs at 81C under load. It was idling at 48C and topping out at about the same temp. WTF!??!

I overclocked my Core i7 to 3.2Ghz (keeping it safe). While running prime95 the core temps reach 71C!!!! Im running a Coolermaster V8 with artic silver 5. Is this normal for the core i7? My idle temp is 39C Core temps.
