I'm looking for a sub 20" widescreen monitor that can I can set up in portrait mode next to my nec 2090 that I got off a recomnedation from here (wish I bought 2 :( ). I'd like to spend less than $150 so used and refurbed are fair game. I don't really care how accurate the colors are or if the...
If you want a cheap 20" isp monitor then I think this is the way to go.

I just got one my self and I really like it. Could use a bit more contrast, but the colors are very accurate and for $250 I really can't complain.
If not this then I would...
Just got back from vacation and finally got to hook up my 2090 from directon. Overall its very nice and seems to be in near mint condition with zero dead or stuck pixels. I just calibrated it with my dads i-one and images look very beautiful, there is also practically no back light bleed. My...
Am I correct in assuming that even if the heights are a little off your mouse will still pass unobstructed from the top of one screen to the top of the other, because the vertical resolutions are the same?
Haha, thats reassuring, but also kind of frightening.
Unfortunately stupid amex held up my order with their verification BS and now there on back order till the 27th. At least theres more coming I guess.
Ive been salivating over the 24"+ variety of screens for a while and am curious if there are any smaller reasonably priced IPS panels I should consider. Thanks,
Been trying to order form newegg, but it hasn't processed, because my shipping and billing address didn't match match or something, but their return policy also really creeps me out and I'd prefer not to order from them. Is it possible to order directly from DS? Anybody body find them in...
So my order from ant online has just been canceled, because its out of stock, which really sucks. I wonder where I should get it from now? Seems like newegg is the only company saying its in stock, ridiculous.
Hey ToastyX, I read/saw your post on how the planar's viewing angle deteriorates at a certain point when compared to the NEC, but when sitting directly in front is the this or the Planar pretty comparable in picture/color quality to the NEC?
Thanks again!
Thanks for the great review toastyX, I really appreciate it.
I don't know if you, or anybody else that currently has one of these puppies has any experience with the dell 2707 or the sammy 275t, but if you do then would you recommend this over either of those for fairly color critical work...
Ive been using my dads old electron blue 22" for a couple years and I'm sure that when he bought it it was the top of line, in terms of professional geared image quality. I will be moving on to LCD soon, but yeah it is a very solid monitor.
My bad, I thought 178 angles were a defining characteristic of an IPS monitor. I guess if they don't go with Samsung as the prad review suggests then theres still hope right?
Is that what 178 degree viewing angles imply?

"However, the specifications, which include a static contrast of 1,300:1, a response time of 6 ms grey-to-grey, brightness of 400 cd/m² and viewing angles of 178 degrees, do not indicate that...
