The Compellent product is not ZFS based, at all. The Dell Compellent zNAS product uses ZFS. It sits in front of the Compellent Storage Center and provides NFS and CIFS. The most recent is the Dell Compellent FS8600, but does not use any ZFS.
Does anyone have Corsair CMX8GX3M1A1333C9 8GB x 2 (for 16GB total) in an N36L with the latest official HP BIOS? (Or any 2 8GB DIMM's working in an N36L or is it just N40L with unofficial 16GB support?)
I too have been waiting for a Mac Pro update. Currently running a 27" iMac and was looking for a slight step up in power, but mainly flexibility (add in hard drives and cards as needed with ease).
For now I will wait until they get updated and stick with my iMac until then.
Not only did I have to changed my LinkedIn password earlier this week, I now have to change my last.fm password - which is used on lots of other sites.
So chances are this weekend a lot of passwords are going to get reset.
I used an Intel SRCSASJV as it had connectors on the end. I had a newer Intel card I wanted to use, and it has it's ports vertical by the IO plate. I was hoping someone had tips - but wanted to be sure. I ended up leaving the Intel SRCSASJV in the MicroServer as it worked and didn't feel like...
For those of you who have RAID Cards in your MicroServer - are you using one where the SFF-8087 connector is towards the back of the card or the front (back by the IO plate).
I was going to put a smaller RAID card in to replace what I have, but the connector is up front by the IO plate and the...

A new digital camera wasn't too high on my list of items (especially after 11 months being unemployed).
The speakers are JBL LSR4328P and the subwoofer is the JBL LSR4312SP. The LSR4328P is 17.25" tall - and I have the 27" iMac.
Last year
Compared to last year, I got a new desk and computer - including walls and carpet. No new digital camera though - I may go digital camera shopping tomorrow.
Got my iPhone 4S 32GB Black this morning. I was #7 in line. Waited for an hour. There were maybe at most 30 people in line.
iMac is due to arrive today, but I'll have to go pick it up.
I got my BlackBerry Storm back in December of 2008 (Christmas present from parents). I was upgrade elgible in August of 2010 (over a year ago) but since I was unemployed it wasn't a high priority. I kept waiting for the Droid Bionic, but then I figured I'd wait for the update to the iPhone...
My personal test box. Have not mapped a datastore to it yet - but I'll do that later this week and start using it more. I may get an order for a few more 4GB sticks to get it up to 24GB or higher, but I'm sure my manager will tell me to use one of the other units with 16GB if I need a bit extra.
Perhaps this is a better place to ask this question.
I have an HP lp2475w I bought in September of 2009.
A few months ago, when turning the monitor on I noticed a bunch of small red and green (no blue) pixels. They're sort of scattered - easily 50 to 100 of them. However, once the monitor...

A few months ago, when turning the monitor on I noticed a bunch of small red and green (no blue) pixels. They're sort of scattered - easily 50 to 100 of them. However, once the monitor gets a signal, I've tried everything to get them to show...
So do you want to run the iSCSI traffic over the Brocade?
That switch is at least 10 years old at this point and would offer no advantage over a standard modern Gigabit Ethernet switch.
