the problem is that my rig crashes after 30min if gaming, im assuming the current 300watt psu is not strong enough. Also it is a little tricky to get the card in, extremely tight fit, so be careful

wait you are talking about the SG05 case right? for the 2.5 drive I just used what came with the Mobo, which was a bit long. The slim optical require a slim-line SATA.

My slim-line SATA cable is about 8 inches, which is the perfect length

Would the sg05 fit the new ATI 5850? As far as I know the card is 9.5 inches long but the connectors are at the end of the card.

If people really want the AOpen board, it is cheaper on Chinese sites such as Taobao where it go for as low as 180, import fee would send it a little over 200.

I heard that the PC-Q08 will support longer graphics cards, and it will come out in Q4. It looks like a direct competitor to the Silverstone SG05/06.

The Aopen board cost 190 to 200 at retailers in Asia, its not exactly a cheap alternative. And yes it does use SODIMM ram and come with realtek 8xx audio.

This board was released back in June but its not available in the US. It is also not listed on the Aopen USA site.

The manual on the Zotac support page describes a third SATA port. I haven't emailed Zotac but the representative on the Zotac forum claim that revision 3 is already shipping worldwide, so there are clearly conflicting information out.

I suggest to wait until the socket 1156 i7 comes out in mid-september
