5850 fits without mod. It is a very tight fit though ;-)

the problem is that my rig crashes after 30min if gaming, im assuming the current 300watt psu is not strong enough.
Also it is a little tricky to get the card in, extremely tight fit, so be careful
Wow a new PSU would be a godsend!
Just a update, I have experienced some problems with the HD5850, when playing Call of Juarez on highest settings the computer shuts off after 20 min, it is most definitely a power supply issue. Although some less demanding games seem to work fine, then again I...
wait you are talking about the SG05 case right? for the 2.5 drive I just used what came with the Mobo, which was a bit long. The slim optical require a slim-line SATA.
Actually it is the exact same length as the 4870 at 9.5 inches so it is a little tricky to get in, I was unable to do it with the cables plugged in first.
As for the noise, it is a little more noisy but thats probably because my setup was virtually silent with the passive GeminII, nothing too...

Diamond brand 5850 available for order on zipzoomfly for 279..
I'm still waiting for some reviews tho...
If people really want the AOpen board, it is cheaper on Chinese sites such as Taobao where it go for as low as 180, import fee would send it a little over 200.
Nice I just built a similar setup:
...
ZOTAC GeForce 9300 WiFi Mini ITX
Silverstone SG06-B Mini-ITX Case
Scythe GentleTyphoon 120mm 1450rpm
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550S 2.83GHz 65w
Cooler Master GeminII Heatsink (Passive)
OCZ Platinum 4GB DDR2 1066
Super Talent 2.5 inch 128GB UltraDriveME...
The Aopen board cost 190 to 200 at retailers in Asia, its not exactly a cheap alternative. And yes it does use SODIMM ram and come with realtek 8xx audio.
The manual on the Zotac support page describes a third SATA port.
I haven't emailed Zotac but the representative on the Zotac forum claim that revision 3 is already shipping worldwide, so there are clearly conflicting information out.
Casca could you post some pictures of your build. The 550w athena psu is about the same size as the seasonic psu seen here: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1399181&page=3
I just don't see how it can be fitted without the drive bracket being modded.
hmm..interesting, don't understand why they listed the dimensions separately. I been planning a new i7 Sugo build as well, haven't seen any reviews on the low-7000, let us know how it goes.
