Thanks for the replies, I'll look into using a switch to manage my devices.
As for living in the dorms as a senior, I go to a very small school (2,000 students) so they can easily accommodate all students, not just freshmen. The town doesn't have nearly enough apartments to accommodate all the...
Been a while since I've posted.
Anyway, I'm going to be starting my senior year at Susquehanna University. Our network has gone through a series of transformations. My freshman year all the ports were locked down and the connection speed was atrocious. I couldn't download faster than 50KB/s...
Selling a used Athlon XP 1800 with Palomino core. I havn't used this in about 2 or 3 years. I had it in an old computer for probably about 2 years. It probably still works but I can't be absolutely sure.
Asking for $35 shipped or best offer.
The gunk on the one side is...
1. Have you ever had a hard drive fail on you?
No
2. Have you ever had a USB Pen fail on you? (if you've used these)
N/A
3. Have you ever had an external Hard Drive Fail on you? (if you've used these)
N/A
4. Have you ever had a CD-R, DVD-R, or other optical media fail/corrupt on you...
Some dorms have cinder block walls that can block out sound really well. In my case, we have really thin drywall that is almost like having no wall. The only thing that can block out any sound is my door which is really really solid wood. But anyway, I just compensate by keeping the bass as low...
I play at medium textures and models (counterstrike source) and trilinear filtering. My FPS jumps between 20 to 80fps while playing on dust and dust2. Lags a little more on other maps. HL2 performs a bit better than CS:S

Game ports are finally open this year, they were closed last year along with IRC, FTP, BitTorrent and pretty much everything else.

If you can justify paying $150 for a CPU, $150 for a mobo, and $200 to get a PCI-E version of the video card I ALREADY HAVE in AGP, then tell me there's no reason.
The most I might be able to get selling this videocard on eBay is like $120...so it'll end up being a $380 upgrade. That is far...
I'm honestly not quite sure. I think I got it from Officemax a few years ago. Pretty sure it's discontinued since I haven't seen it on their site since. I don't like it because it's way too small and doesn't have any practical drawers or shelves. But it keeps me on top of my junk. I have to...
Here's a comparison shot I made.

Hey all.
I've been thoroughly enjoying my Logitech Z-560s for a couple of years now. However, I've finally reached a point where I think I'd be happier with 5.1. I never missed out on the center channel until I picked up a DualDisc Album and listened to the 5.1 side. Everytime it tried...
I've got no idea, I got it a few years ago at Officemax or Staples. Sorry. But, I regret getting it ... :(. Not enough drawers (theres a single cabinet and a filing drawer) and well, I guess that's my only real problem with it.
Hey I'lll be taking a really long trip soon and I'll be a passenger for a good portion of the trip. I was wondering if any of you could recommend a good power inverter for my laptop.
I have a Compaq Presario R3210us (R3000 series)
Its specs are as follows:
Athlon XP-m 3000+, 512MB PC2100...
Sorry for the bump, but I think the "lag" was just due to a crappy rom. But, I'd still like this issue worked out, since I don't like snes9x or snes9k.
Part of my reason for getting the keyboard was because it was USB. I did this so that I could hold more than 3 buttons at the same time. But, I may consider doing this when I want to play zsnes. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hey guys. I've been playing zsnes for years now with my EMS PlayStation2 Controller USB adapter and it's been great. However, I recently got a Saitek Gamer's Keyboard and this has brought me some problems. Apparently the Saitek also lists itself as a gamepad, and this has caused conflicts with...
This is a pretty bad driver release. My performance in games went down and it broke Guild Wars. Whenever I exited Guild Wars with these drivers, my computer restarted. I went back to 71.89 and it fixed the problem.
